What are the Scuptures that adorn the Gable of the Temple of the Sun? 
Sol has always been depicted with two females, either his sisters, Eos, Goddess of the Dawn and Luna, Goddess of the Moon (Rome) or his daughters, Phaethusa and Lampetia. 

Eos brings the Dawn 
Sol rides his Chariot across the Sky
Luna carries the Day through the Oceans of the Night
